Dr. Chad Kenneth Holmes, MD

Dilip J. Karnik, M.D., is the Medical Director of Pediatric Neurology Department at 'Specially for Children and has been a practicing neurologist in Austin for the past 17 years. Upon completion of his undergraduate and post-graduate training in pediatrics at the Grant Medical College in Bombay, India, he served two years at Rutgers Medical School in New Jersey, where he was a Senior Pediatric Resident. Dr. Karnik also served three years as a fellow in Pediatric Neurology fellowship at Downstate Medical Center, at the State University of New York. In addition to his busy practice, Dr. Karnik founded several programs such as the Pediatric Neurology Research Center, Starbright Pediatric Rehabilitation Institute and PASS (Parent Association for Seizure Support). He is listed in 'Best Physicians in America' and has authored several articles, books and newsletters on children's neurology.
