Dr. Chad Michael Myeroff, MD

After a car accident over two years ago, I developed quadrilateral space syndrome in my right shoulder. I was referred to TRIA and began seeing Dr. Myeroff, who treated me with cortisone injections and other therapies for over a year. They helped temporarily, but the pain always came back. I was honestly terrified of surgery since I’d never had one before, but I finally decided to go through with it, and it was the best decision I could’ve made. From the moment I checked in for surgery, every doctor, nurse, and staff member made me feel cared for, comfortable, and reassured that everything would go smoothly (and it did!). The surgery went perfectly, and just four weeks later, I was already doing my infamous handstands again, pain-free! Now, two months post-surgery, I feel completely back to myself. I can’t thank Dr. Myeroff and the entire TRIA team enough for giving me my shoulder (and confidence) back. If you ever need shoulder surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Myeroff, you’ll be in… the best hands possible.

Dr Myeroff took plenty of time explaining my condition, my options, and, ultimately, the surgical procedure. Post op and rehab was virtually painless and quick. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Myeroff to anyone needing orthopedic care.

Dr Myeroff is one of those Dr's that you hope you will find but rarely do! He listened, cared, was knowledgeable, showed and explained everything to me every step of the way! Always easy to get an appointment and his appointments are very prompt. His support staff is just as wonderful as he is. Nothing seems to work correctly the first time for me but Dr Myeroff knew how to fix it. When he gave me the all clear this morning I would tell you I have 95% of my movement back after a fairly significant break. He doesn't just give up and say I'm done. Thank you Dr Myeroff and team.

My entire experience with Dr Myeroff, from initial meeting to full recovery has been exceptional. I fell from a standing position on a bench about 12 months ago and tore my rotator cuff in several places. After consulting with 2 surgeons, I decided to try conservative treatments first, including corticosteroid injection and physical therapy. Following that, I still didn't have the level of recovery I wanted. When I met Dr. Myeroff at Tria Woodbury, he was very friendly, not rushed, and the first surgeon to actually show me my imaging and explain in detail what was out of place or torn and how he would repair it. He used an electronic stylus to draw on the imaging what he planned to do. This was a tremendous confidence builder, I trusted him, and we scheduled the surgery. I am now about 7 weeks post-surgery, and I continue to have complete confidence in Dr. Myeroff, his detailed protocols for recovery (which are both in writing and video), and his team.

Very old injury (40 yrs) and last 6 in excruciating pain. Dr Myeroff suggested total replacement, which is what I hoped for after prior docs did PT and cortisone shots for 8-10 years. Could NOT be happier. Two days post-op was in far less pain than any day in the prior 6+ years. He gave me back part of my life! All staff and therapy staff were incredible!!

My story starts with a long and painful case of Tennis Elbow that got even worst. I, unknowingly, tore over 50% of one of the main tendons in my right elbow which affected the functionality of my arm, wrist, and hand. I lost much of my range motion and any attempt to exceed my limit was extremely painful. I sought out help through Dr. Paul Schaefer who began my treatment. After going through the wringer with multiple Physical Therapists, Dr.Schaefer discovered my torn tendon and stopped my PT immediately. This is where Dr. Myeroff came into the picture. Dr. Schaefer shared the images of my tendon with him for a consult after requesting my approval to do so. Dr. Myeroff was greatly recommended by Dr. Schaefer and so I agreed. The consult was very informative and thorough. His opinion of the matter was given in layman terms and not full of the medical terms that most of us don't understand. He laid out all my options for my case and what he recommended the next step should be. Surgery… was the next step, as I have exhausted all of my other options. Again, he explained the process in simple terms, step by step. Once I had agreed, he at point, pointed out that I could change my mind if I decided to do so. Schedulers came in and put me on the books and explained the process before, during, and after the surgery. I left feeling comfortable with my decision. The day of the surgery was pretty smooth sailing. Dr. Myeroff joined me and my wife in the prep room and once again went through what was going to happen and gave me another chance to back out. I was certain of my decision and we proceeded. I was in and out in a morning's time and was set up quite adequately to keep me comfortable during my recovery time. My wife was briefed on my do's and don'ts, as well as my recovery instructions. Dr. Myeroff set me up with his preferred PT, Cory, that worked pretty closely with him and had a very good understanding of the care plan that Dr. Myeroff was targeting. Through all the good work between Dr. Myeroff, his go-to PT, Cory, and myself, we successfully got me recovered at 100% within three months' time. The best medical story I have ever been able to tell...

After two failed repairs on my shoulder I sought help from Dr. Myeroff. From the very beginning he and his staff made me feel very comfortable with the proceeds and procedure. Almost 5 months later, my shoulder feels better than ever and I’m starting to do things again that I didn’t even think possible. I would higher recommend Dr. Myeroff and his team!
