Dr. Chadburn Branhah Ray, MD

I was very fortunate that I was able to have Dr. Ray as my doctor when we were moving to Augusta from overseas when I was 28 weeks pregnant with twins. I was very concerned about the type of care I could expect so far into my pregnancy and if I would find a doctor who would go along with my birth plan. Dr. Ray was kind and patient and took the time to hear my wishes. He supported my desire for a natural birth for my twins and laid out expectations and alternative scenarios if he felt the plan needed to be changed. I felt I was heard and given clear information for my pregnancy and labor and delivery. And although my birth plan was not able to be followed due to an emergency, I felt confident in Dr. Ray and his associates. Dr. Ray doesn't treat you like a patient. He treats you like a person. He truly listens and hears your concerns. I have never had a doctor take the type of time that he does. He has an excellent bedside manner and makes you feel he cares about you as a complete… person; not a patient. A throwback to what doctors used to be. I wish there were more like him.

Dr. Ray is a very kind and respectful doctor. I could not have been more pleased with the care I received from him during my child's birth. I will be forever grateful that he was our doctor.

Very kind and thoughtful. He was very busy and the wait seemed a little long, but he spent a lot of time with me. I recommend Dr. Ray to everyone.

Dr. Ray has been my doctor with my last two children. He was a resident during my second pregnancy that I lost and he was wonderful. His bedside manner and concern for me made me want to have him for my doctor. I wouldn't change a thing about him!!!

Dr. Ray was incredibly courteous. He made a point to offer education on my complicated condition. He became trustworthy right away. The level of care seems to be superior to my past experiences. I (and my spouse) would rate his as "excellent"!
