Dr. Chadd Dee Nelson, DO

Dr Nelson had fine bed-side manner and was easy to talk to. The huge issue is that he is IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of. I have NEVER received a response from him (or his nurses) from voicemails or the online patient portal. I was seeing him for migraines/tension headaches, and he prescribed a medication to try out. It didn't work, I couldn't get a hold of him for an entire week, then another week. Still having migraines. Finally had to schedule an appointment just to tell him it didn't work. He's like "ok, let's try this other medication". You telling me that couldn't have been handled over the phone or via email?? Now, it's been almost a week since I had an MRI; no one has contacted me with any test results. Still having headaches. Screw this, I'm finding another doc that actually gets back to me.

Terrible treatment of me the patient I would not ever go back to him.

Dr. Nelson was very thorough and really listened to me.

Very bad Bedside Manner, Very rude, and Impatient!

During our first appointment he did not ask enough questions to search for my concerns. He ordered me a prescription I did not need or ask for. A few weeks later my symptoms continued and I asked him if he would write a note to my travelers insurance company to cancel my flight because I did not feel comfortable traveling overseas for 2 months with these conditions. He refused to write the letter. Overall how could this be good treatment?

Had an appointment with Dr. Nelson this morning. Told his receptionist it was my first visit with him and she said how friendly he was and that I would like him. She was right! I could tell that he truly cared about me and my health care. Dr. Nelson ordered x-rays for me and as soon as I walked back to his office he reviewed them with me immediately. Great communicator, treated me with respect, made me feel comfortable. He's a keeper!

Worst Doctor I have ever seen. He is rude. Uncaring, judgemental, and flat out mean.....

I would send my own family to him - great physician.
