Dr. Chakrapani Ranganathan, MD

Worst dr ever. Never seen a Dr like him in my lifetime. No compassion for dying patients family. He moreover told me I'm not queen of England to keep my father in ICU forever. Pushed to take off his life support after a week. Until now I'd understand but then he told me my brother can't come visit him from finland saying everyone would then be able to come to USA. He discouraged us in every way possible at worst time ever. Even when we didn't ask for anything just a letter to show my father is in critical condition. My father died last week. I never wished any bad thing for anyone in my life. But you need to know how it feels when you're in the other side of it. I wish one day you'd understand and experience what we went through

He is truly a compassionate Doctor . I thank God he was the one who cared for me. Made the call in a life or death situation . He cares and always efficient and will never let you down . He is there for you always. Trust me have faith in him. You will be healthy in no time.

Cared about his patients

Dr is great the wait time to get an appointment and again the wait in the office is unacceptable. In this day and age I expect better.

Dr. Ranganathan is a highly educated physician who stays up to date on all of the new medications and treatments that are available for your condition. Also, he has been around and treated patients for many years so he can bring in his past experience and design an updated treatment plan that will work for you. Usually the wait time is about 45 minutes but I can tell you it will be worth it. His office staff are wonderful with a lot of patience. I have seen them go over and beyond in assisting the patients who need extra time or help. I hope Dr. Ranganathan will never retire. Sincerely, Kathy W.

I have been seeing dr. Ranganathan for many years and I consider the best Neurologist. Spends time talking and listening to questions always. The best doctor ever!

had 02 overnight done week before christmas. Due to holidays, I waited until 12/31 and called for results. As of 1/11/18 - I have left 3 messages. Staff said they are busy and would give another note to Dr. Love Dr. Ranganathan but beginning to wonder if staff is correct and they are to busy to accomodate patient followup.

All in all a great doctor. Remember, if he is late it is because somebody needed that extra time. You will have your turn.

I have a history of seizures. Many Neurologists just named them episodes without any explanation. Dr. Ranganathan was the first physician to make me feel that is wasn't just "in my head." He took the time to explain how to pay attention & document my symptoms. He explained how he came to the diagnosis, not just say "this is what you have!" He was very thorough with testing & exams, he didn't order unnecessary test. I felt comfortable the first time he was assigned to me for a consultation @ St. John Macomb Hospital. This physician is terrific at what he does! I would recommend him to everyone, I have recommended him to many people & physicians!!!

Dr. Ranganathan really cares! I've presented him with a "very challenging (according to him)" sleep problem, & he's really trying to help me! I would highly recommend him to anyone! His whole staff is very professional, yet, friendly!
