Dr. Chaman Lal Sohal, MD

I think Dr Sohal knows what he is doing but he is not good at communicating at all or answering your questions, which can be very frustrating at times. Makes you feel like you don’t know what’s going on. He is nice and I think good at what he does. Just wish he would communicate. Long waits in the waiting room are very common. Over a hour. Staff is nice place is clean.

1998 I was a survivor of sudden cardiac death, I had a defibrillator implanted at that time, I see Dr. Sohal every 6 months he has kept me going for the last 17 years, he is caring and a wonderful trusted doctor.

Dr. Sohal was very passionate in aiding me for my visits. He is highly known as a top doc and I am glad he is my doctor. If it was not for him, my life would be different.

compassionate and accurate

Have been seeing Dr. Sohal for a number of years after meeting him on staff at Oakwood when I had a massive heart attack. The receptionist Tanya is not helpful at all and will say she will call you back or set up something and never does. This has been an on going issue, she has even made two mistakes of scheduling me for procedures that I wasn't even supposed to have but yet I get the letter from the hospital stating that I'm scheduled and how to prepare. I've lost all appreciation for Dr. Sohal after a recent procedure that he performed that was supposed to be minor and ended up a major surgery with lasting health effects. After he completeted the procedure and I was in the hospital for 10 days, not once did he come in to check on me and for my first follow up appointment he switched me over to his associate for continued care. I had faith in this man and he failed me and doesn't even have the nerve to tell me what went wrong or to work with me on my continued recovery and care.
