n June 1993, Dr. Washburn graduated at the top of his class from Albany High School in Albany, Georgia. He then received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Pulp and Paper Science and Technology from North Carolina State University in May 1997, graduating with honors.
In May 2001, Dr. Washburn received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia (now Georgia Health Sciences University) in Augusta, Georgia. He opened Washburn Family Dentistry on December 31, 2001.
Dr. Washburn received his Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry on June 30, 2007, an achievement only seven percent of dentists attain.

Personal:
Family and faith are an important part of Dr. Washburn’s life. He was married in October …2001, and he and his wife have two children and enjoy a very close relationship with their extended family.
Dr. Washburn and his family are active members in their church. An avid tennis fan, Dr. Washburn competes in the Atlanta Lawn Tennis Association (ALTA) and watches professional matches whenever he can. Additionally, he loves travelling and plays the piano.
