I had a lot of problem with my type 2 diab and the doctor took personal attention to help me out. She is pretty knowledgeable and gave enough time to hear me out.

I have never felt better in my life. I have been on a hormone and thyroid treatment plan via my gyno for years. I feel fantastic but when the medicine costs skyrocketed, I was referred to Dr Mishra to see if there was another comparable medication replacement for my thyroid. I went thru the 2.5 hours for the initial visit with Dr. Mishra and I was told to stay on the expensive medication because it was the best option. If it works the best, the cost was worth it, I just needed to know if other options existed. Great, thanks, I got the info I was looking for. After that visit, I received hundreds of dollars in charges for that initial visit (this is after my insurance paid their portion and I have great insurance) and a call from the medical assistant. The doctor recommended that I change 4 of my medications....why would they do that? Well....because the lab "normal ranges" said I was abnormal. Dr Mishra didn't care that I told her I felt better over the last few years than I ever… have. Here is the thing about those ranges they use to determine whether you are normal or not. I spent years being told I was within "normal ranges" for my hormones and thyroid. It wasn't until I met a doctor that actually listened to how you FEEL and used the ranges as guides, not gospel. In fact, to give you an example, one of the normal ranges for Progesterone is the equivalent to saying your weight is within "normal ranges" if you weight between 80-800 pounds. It doesn't make sense to base lab results, that effect your mood and overall sense of wellbeing, strictly on a number. That literally is like saying all of us somehow have the same chemistry makeup, so the number is all you need to use as a guide to normalcy. Which we all know is not true...a simple example....if we were all subject to the same "normal ranges" then we should all be able to take the same medication (no matter what it is) and have it effect us the exact same. We all know that isn't the case, one size does not fit all. I am sharing all of this info so you know that Dr Chandra Mishra's medical and business model is not appropriate if you want to actually FEEL better. Find a doctor that will listen to you, hear where you FEEL good and where you feel bad, then using labs AND how you feel, comes up with a treatment plan that makes sense versus a treatment plan that fits you into a one size fits all mold.

i saw Dr. Mishra today as a folliw up for Dr Duick since he is ill. She explained everything very thoroughly and was very professional. i look forward to working with her in the future.

she is there only to make money. Her assistant Kelsey Perfect is nice but talks to fast doesn't Listen to you to your concerns. Have wait for results way to long end up calling for get the results . Time find another Dr.

At each of 3 appointments the PA or doctor was late every time. There were no apologies nor reasons given. The second appointment I was told the doctor would see me and didn’t even come in.

First appointment in their scottsdale location I spend more time with her assistant than with her. She didn't spoke much when to order test immediately . Staff office is rude and very unprofessional . The major disappoint came when they post online my results without giving me a called to let me know. It's very frustrating dealing with this dc and office you barely could speak with them , every time you called it goes to voice mail. Don't go there see other doctors.

The doctor insisted that I have blood work and an ultra sound, which was duplicated because my primary doctor had me do the same thing. When I went to have the blood work the phlebotomist missed my vein and bruised my arm. I went back for an ultrasound a week later and I saw the physician assistant and the technician who did the ultrasound. She said she would look at the results and the doctor would call me. The doctor never called. I had to call a week later and the physician assistant called me after hours on a Friday to read me the size of all my cysts. Then, she said come back in a year. But, I still have the problem which the doctor never addressed and I never saw or talked to the doctor. I can not adequately express the depth of my frustration.

As long as you allow Dr Mishra to lead you blindly, everything will be fine. But, the minute you are your own advocate, things go downhill real quick!! I have several health issues for which I see other types of specialists - neurologist, cardiologist, pulmonologist, etc. My pulmonologist suspected I have an enlarged thyroid that is pressing on my trachea and suggested I get it checked - that's all I needed from this dr. But, because I wouldn't completely shift gears on my thyroid meds, she became clearly irritated with me. My thyroid meds have been prescribed by my naturopath for 3 yrs and all my numbers are good - she said the numbers didn't matter and went off on a tirade about naturopaths. She then started going down a list of blood work she wanted to do through her office lab and when I said I had those done recently and I had brought all those records with me she became more irritated but didn't care to look at them and started spouting about how she doesn't trust other… labs. I told her it was more convenient and affordable for me to use the lab through my inusrance to which she replied very tersly "finances nor conveniences are valid reasons for questionable lab results!!" In the end, she did the ultrasound, but took 2 weeks to get me the results of 'enlarged thyroid with no intervention recommended at this time'. When I asked the tech how enlarged she didn't know as the dr didn't indicate that. Seriously?!?!?

Back office staff is unresponsive to requests for call backs. Way too long for refill requests and call backs take days. I left a message for the PA who would not call me back. Flat out refuse to call me back even though my labs show abnormal. After complaining I was offered an earlier apt but only after I called many times to complain.
