Dr. Chandhiran Rangaswamy, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Rangaswamy for 11 years. Dr. Rangaswamy is very professional and thorough. He always takes the time to listen to any of my concerns and answers all of my questions. The office staff are very friendly and helpful.

I had gone to another Dr. in my local area, he put me in the hospital and ran a few test on me then released me telling me to take the medication he had prescribed and I would be fine. He would not listen to any concerns of mine nor my family's. I contacted my insurance and ask if I could get a second opinion and that Dr. Rangaswamy had been recommended by a close friend. As soon as I saw Dr. Rangaswamy he ordered a sleep study and scheduled a cardiac cath. The sleep study came back fine but when Dr. Rangaswamy did the cardiac cath he found an 80% blockage in the coronary artery and that I was in congestive heart failure. Dr. Rangaswamy will be my Cardiologist from now on.

I am so thankful for Dr. Rangaswamy. He listened to my problems, and he is continuing to look into my results and records to help me. Also, when I had a procedure done today the whole staff was so attentive and wonderful. The workers in his office in Elizabethtown and Louisville are sweet also. I give them all five stars.

I would highly recommend him to anyone because of his nice manners his ways of making you feel so important that your health matters. I am so pleased to be his patient and trust no one else for better care.

5 mins late for appointment due to accident on I-65 and Dr would not see me but charged anyway. No other patients in waiting room yet could not be seen. Office staff rude and unhelpful. Also, thru KY ONE was billed for services NOT rendered for Loop Recorder. Wife and I had to take off work to make appointment so lost income for day. Was told to reschedule...So I will...BUT with a new Cardiologist. Awful Experience.

Dr. Rangaswamy is an outstanding MD with a staff to match. He and his staff work continuously to give you the best care possible and to make sure you understand your diagnosis and medications (in layman's terms). He and his employees are completely down-to-earth and caring people. I would recommend to family and friends alike.
