Dr. Chandrasekhar Sekhar Chilappa, MD

I went to Dr.Chilappa for fibromyalgia management.He answered a phone call from his daughter 5 minutes in and told me she was applying to law school, how is that an emergency? I thought that was unprofessional. He came off as aggressive to me a few times and has unrealistic expectations, he told me I need to have absolutely no stress in my life and that’s impossible. He also does not seem to fully understand the amount of pain fibromyalgia causes and is unable to fully empathize. I do not feel like he’s right for me and will not be continuing care with him or recommend him to anyone.

First let me say, I waited over an hour to see Dr Chilappa. To only hear him tell the nurse in the hallway outside the room door, tell me everything in less than five minutes. He came in the room and asked me why I was there, when clearly the referral said Lupus. I already had been diagnosed, just needed a dr to treat me. As I began to go over my history he cut me off. Told me to stand up, pressed on a few places and told me I had fibromyalgia. Even if that was true, he didn't even offer any treatment for fibromyalgia. His bedside manner was terrible. I will never go back there.

Very glad I chose this provider. He didn't need to take a bunch of tests to figure out an underlying problem. He analyzed past records, took a good history and made appropriate referrals. Nursing staff very pleasant as well.

2 years ago no doctor, MRI, or test could figure out what was wrong with me. Dr. Chiappa literally saved me from a life of pain and probably not being able to work. He is a caring physician that never rushes any questions you might have. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Chilappa has been my inspiration on fighting thru this RA Lupus and other auto immune issues. I appreciate his help and his nurses and staff every time.
