Chandrakant R. Patel, MD

Dr. Patel diagnosed my daughter's congenital heart condition (in-utero) at 26 weeks gestation. His talent with the ultrasound is unparalleled. My daughter eventually had an open heart procedure (repair of Truncus Arteriosus) at a national referral center for heart surgery. They were astounded by Dr. Patel's accuracy and skill in diagnosing my daughter's condition. His early diagnosis led to us being able to plan her surgery with the one of the best surgeons in the world and she has done remarkably well. Much of her success is due to Dr. Patel. He has followed her for 10 years now and has a wonderful caring manner and it is evident how much he cares for his patients. I am a physician myself and I marvel at Dr. Patel's clinical acumen, bedside manner and empathy. By the way, my daughter loves him too and looks forward to doctor's visits.

My daughter was diagnosed at 22 weeks with a heart defect. When Dr. Patel told us this horrible news he was gentle and kind and took the time to explain to us what the problem was and what our options were. After my daughter was delivered Dr. Patel continued to be our rock during such a hard time. His bedside manner is one of care and respect. He is NOT cold and distanced as some doctors are. He put us at ease and even met with us for an unscheduled appointment when our daughter was in the PICU! The nursing staff speaks highly of him as do his colleagues. There is a reason for this. He is an amazing doctor!
