Dr. Varma always listen to me all my symptoms he is very kind and cares a lot for his patients I am glad i found him because he not only medicate you for feeling better but he look for a diagnosis where does the symptoms come from thats what like

The staff needs training in customer courtesy. The phone system is cumbersome. You get trapped in the phone-loop. The call back time is much too long.

I've been seeing Dr Varma the past 2 years for hyperthyroidism and Graves Disease. I am a 46 year old female. I was not well educated in this new condition of mine. Each visit was a quick 10 minutes. He told me I would have Graves & hyperT for the rest of my life, that this was an autoimmune condition that required medical treatment. He started me on methimazole and later added levothyroxine. My condition hardly changed after 2 years. After researching this condition, it was clear that I could change some habits to reduce my symptoms and possibly get off the medication. Changes such as eat an organic diet, eat hormone free meats, avoid soy, avoid canola, avoid fluoride, do not eat processed foods, etc. None of which were recommended by Dr Varma and that disappointed me most. Though, I asked permission to take certain natural supplements in conjunction with the prescriptions and to my surprise, he allowed it. I have switched health insurance and he is not on my new plan. Unfortunately… my overall impression is he goes hand in hand with big pharma making a quick buck off of my health.

I found Dr. Varma and his staff, including the N.P. Elena, to be very accommodating, friendly, concerned, and very thorough. Dr. Varma, I could tell was very knowledgeable and experienced. He knew what he was doing and his diagnosis of my problem was correct. I felt very comfortable with him and Elena and I will definitely be letting them treat my thyroid condition. I don't understand the 1 or 2 negative reviews on here, because that was not my experience at all. I found this office, staff and Dr's. to be very professional and knowledgeable. There's alot to be said about experience too.

Visited twice this doc, second time was after a heart attack I suffered. Because I am over weight Dr. Varma told me I got what I deserved. Very poor bedside manner

I have been a patient of Dr Varma for several years and can't praise him enough. I wish all my doctors were as thoughtful and caring. Years before it became a popular topic he diagnosed my Vitamin D deficiency, and I've felt better ever since.

I have been seeing Dr. Varma for about 2 1/2 years. I switched over on the recommendation of a friend and am well satified. The first thing he did was immediately change my medication. My previous Dr had me on Avandia which was linked to heart attacks. Dr. Varma had was taken aback when I told him I was on Avandia and asked if my physician had warned me of the side effects. He gave me a complete checkup and we have been following up every 2 to 3 months with excellent success. Both A1c and colesteral are down and well within tolerance. I am not the easiest of patients and will not allow myself on numerous meds simultainiously. Doctor Varma has worked around that quirk and together we are on target to get my A1c below 6.0 by year end and off the meds. Also, as a sailor, my sched is irratic. Dr Varma has worked around that and kept me current. I have read previous comments and will warn prospective patients that he will not brook whining. If you are not willing to work to improve… your situation, then I do not know if he is right for you. As for staff, I find them friend, accomadating and professional. I had reservations about one staff member. I made my feelings known and have not been scheduled with him since. His office is cutting edge and constantly updating. If you are willing to work to improve, I highly recommend Dr. Varma and his associates.

This was my first visit with Dr. Varma. I did not expect too much so I would not be disappointed. To my pleasent surprace, he was undestanding of my hypothyroidism symptoms and I'm going to see him again.

Dr. Varma has been treating my diabetes condition for over 5 years. I am well satisfied with the level of care and treatment by Dr. Varma and through his office staff.

I think Dr. Varma is great. I would definitely recommend him. Professional, experienced... he's been taking care of a couple of problems for me, and I'm completely satisfied with him.
