I was so hopeful my first visit and felt great. I was greeted with a fist bump and left with a hug. I felt like I was headed in the right direction. I made my recheck in 3 weeks on a Monday but when I woke up that Sunday I could not move my neck. I left a message with the answering service and called the next morning very apologetic and the receptionist said no worries. I started to have issues with my neck and shoulders and was planning and MRI and was at their mercy so I told the receptionist I was afraid to book my appt for fear of the hospital booking my MRI the same day. She was extremely sympathetic or so I thought. When I called to schedule my followup I was told I had cancelled before and she had to speak to the doctor which of course never happened. When I told her I couldn't help it and that I had Lupus she said "yeah, you've told me before". Well obviously you DON'T get it. You are supposed to help anxiety and depression not make it worse. Thankfully my GP helped me and I… WILL be finding a new doctor. Avoid at all costs.

Dr. Kim is a very good doctor. I work in Healthcare and have seen the different approaches psychiatrists make in addressing psych. He is genuinely caring, takes his time to listen and get feedback from you as a patient. He tried to get to know you and establish a relationship as doctors should with their patients but is no longer common practice as it once was. He has a good sense of humor which helps patients relax and be more at ease as being a patient can be uncomfortable. He also is a neurologist which gives him a more vast insight on the overall approach to effectively treating. His staff is caring and helps with accommodations. Every time I have called or come in with concerns or questions, the receptionist has always followed through on helping me with concerns, questions or accommodations.

Dr. Kim is a very compassionate doctor who is great with follow up and psychiatric emergencies.

Dr. Kim obviously failed to understand or did not take the Hippocratic Oath. I walked in his office when I was 18 years old and I wish I never did. He "diagnosed" me with clinical depression in less then 20 minutes, and after few more visits he diagnosed me with ADD and wrote me 2 more different prescriptions increasing my dosage every few months. I didn't have clinical depression and should have never been put on SSRI's alone, not to mention adderal and klonopin on top of it. He screwed up my brain chemistry, after doing my own research on the medicine he prescribed I realized he put me on dangerous drugs that were doing more harm then good. I stopped taking the drugs after I realized they were dangerous but sadly the damage was done. Not only did I have some physical withdrawals but also my mentally I have never been the same. It made me much more susceptible to addiction to alcohol or other illicit drugs. I havent been able to focus like I used to even before I was on the meds. Now… I know what clinical depression really is, and thats how I know I should never have been on even anti-depressants alone not to mention the rest of the meds. If you are planning to go see dr.kim I would go see someone else or at least a second opinion. Dr. Kim if you are reading this please spend a little more time with your patients and not be so fast with the prescription pad. Final note: I think Dr.Kim is more interested in pharmaceutical kickbacks then helping people, I really wish I never walked into his office.

Do not visit this doctor!!! Do not waste your time !!! He is very unprofessional and rude. He does not care about your health condition. He only cares about the money he gets from the insurance and wants you to schedule visits every month. All he knows is to prescribe medication, nothing else. On my second and last visit, Instead of helping me to cope with my feelings and my symptoms, he made me all frustrated and he wasn't even patient to listen my problems. He got up from his chair pointing the door to me in order that I should leave. I left his office crying and letting him know that I will look for another professional doctor. As a result of his rude behavior and not getting a professional treatment, I asked not to bill my insurance and I asked for my $20 copay back, which was returned to me right away.

Very disappointed in the staff and how they treated me as a patient. I will be finding a new Dr. Do not go here.

Ive been seeing Dr Kim ongoing for almost 4years now.I think that he is kind and feel that he really cares about my well being! The staff on the other hand really couldn't be bothered ! I belive that the doctor doesn't get messages and one girl in particular is lazy and rude! I have been nothing but pleasant and don't understand why she has such an attitude with me! Every 6 months it's the same story,I cant get my medication filled because of paperwork not being filled out at there office! All it takes is a phone call to the insurance company,but I guess thats too much work! Never a call back, so I have to waste my whole day making sure its being taken care of! Caring Doctor,not so caring staff!

My son has been a patient of Dr. Kim since he first became ill. Recently he experienced a severe decline in his condition and was feeling extremely bad. I could not get Dr. Kim to return my call; we sought other assistance in the meantime and then he finally called. He indicated first that he didn't get my message, but when I confronted him that I'd called his service he said it was his day off. When I confronted him further about what Patients in crisis are supposed to do, if it was his day off wouldn't there be a covering dr. he could no answer me....and then wanted to speak with my son who didn't want to talk to him because he was upset over not being called back. When I told the dr. he wasn't up to speaking with him, he hung up on me!!! I was shocked! He is the most unprofessional dr. I have ever had contact with!!! Do not use him...he will just put meds in you...whatever he has samples of....and when they don't work it will be your fault...he was SHOCKED that my son was… depressed...but isn't that what he diagnosed him with????? DUH!

Patient for six years. Needed a prescription filled (SSRI). Seven phone calls to his office no call backs. Went to office, staff was rude and unapologetic. Doctor dismissed me. This is not a doctor who apparently cares about the well-being of his patients. Would never recommend him to anyone!
