I had an excellent experience with Dr Choi, Dr Aaronson and the entire office staff. Both doctors are excellent at explaining your situation and are very, very caring. I feel as I am in great hands...and the office staff and medical staff are delightful, very accommodating and professional.

Doctor Choi could easily be the poster child for weight discrimination in healthcare. After several tests showing pulmonary issues, he immediately and forcefully refused to pursue the root causes any further as long as I am obese. I have been obese for many years, and these issues are a new development. I do not argue that my situation could not improve somewhat with weight loss, but to immediately discredit my experiences and perspectives in an effort to push me out the door as quickly as possible by automatically chalk the entirety of my experience up to "you're fat" is doing me both a personal and a medical disservice. He did not even offer any explanation as to the physiology of my condition, nor did he even make an attempt to identify or suggest supportive therapies.
