Dr. Channing Chin, MD, FACS, FASMBS

Meet Dr. Channing ChinDr. Channing Chin is a native of Louisiana. He has trained extensively in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery and has practiced on both east and west coasts.He has performed many minimally invasive surgeries including sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, and revisional surgeries. His diverse experience has allowed him to expand his knowledge in bariatric surgery. He is Board Certified in Bariatric and General Surgery, a Fellow in the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. His interest in advancing the field of bariatric surgery led him to do research. He has multiple publications in bariatric surgery focused on sleeve gastrectomy. Dr. Chin dedicated himself to helping individuals overcome their struggles with obesity. He understands the hardships associated with the disease and seeks to improve the lives of each patient.
