Dr. Chaohua Yan, MD

As a neurologist working with an MS patient, she is far too hands off and willing to farm out medications that deal with MS side effects to other physicians. She also has a strict 10 minute window for late appointments, however I've never had to wait less than 60 minutes to see her. Usually it's an hour and a half.

I had to see Dr. Yan for a stroke I had. My MRI showed areas of white matter in my brain. After much consulting with her, she still did not have a definite diagnosis but insisted I needed injections of B-12. That would increase my memory. After many injections, that my insurance did not pay for, and reoccurring headaches, I am off to see another neurologist, one that hopefully speaks English and will actually order a new MRI and deal with my terrible headaches. As for the white matter, who knows what it is or what s causing it..Maybe the new doctor will be so kind as to inform me. I will never visit her office again...
