Dr. Charity Lynn Bishop, MD

Dr. Charity Bishop is a family medicine physician who earned her medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences. She completed her residency training at UNM Hospital and brings 11 years of experience to her practice. Her expertise in family medicine allows her to provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages, from newborns to adults.

Dr. Bishop practices at multiple locations throughout Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, New Mexico, including the University of New Mexico Hospital and UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center. She also sees patients at the UNM Family Health Northeast Heights Clinic and the Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertensive Clinic. Her clinical focus includes caring for habits like nail biting and thumb sucking, as well as managing obsessive-compulsive personality patterns. She provides newborn care services and incorporates physical therapy and water-based exercise programs into patient treatment plans.
