Dr. Charlena Denise Sears, PhD

After years of struggling to find the right match, Dr. Sears is by far the best therapist I've had. She approached every session with warmth, empathetic listening, and insightful perspectives. She helped me see myself through a new lens and actively engage in the process of change, healing, and moving forward. I couldn't be happier with my care.

I called this doctor to schedule an appointment but got a voicemail. I left a message and didn't receive a return call until the following day. She immediately proceeded to ask me for my health insurance information, address, and phone number. Then said will call me back. When she returned my call, it was to provide me with names of other providers without any explanations as to why she would take me. When I asked she stated the provider service number was unclear and she rather not take the chance. I informed her I have a PPO insurance and all benefits are paid. She is under our network. I was taken aback by her decision to just deny me. I placed a complaint with our provider services department. She should be removed from our network. She is definitely in the wrong field.
