Dr. Charlene Ann Ellsworth, MD

Doctor Ellsworth was pushing me into some unnecessary procedure, and when I told her I would think about it, she became hostile. She said she was tired of arguing with all her patients. No doctor should be arguing with patients. She did all the arguing and I won't return to this horrible woman. She is always late, and then gives you no more than 4 minutes. She is not a good listener as she will talk over you. The medical technicians do all the work, they take your blood pressure, vitals, etc, and Dr. Ellsworth walks in cranky. No bedside manner period.

Dr. Ellsworth never rushes you and always listens to what you have to say. She really cares.

I really like Dr Ellsworth, but because of the incompetent staff, I had to lower my rating. I wish I could just rate the staff. I would give them Zero stars. I have had nothing but problems with referrals, the referral department just never faxes referrals for me, and doesn't return my calls. I have to call multiple times to be told it was taken care of, when it was not. If 4 different doctors offices are saying they never received the referrals from Ellsworth's staff, then I know it wasn't done. These ladies just don't care. Whether I call the Providence office or speak to someone at East Greenwich, it doesn't matter, I have to say that I have never dealt with some incompetence. The only thing they do care about is getting my payment.
