Dr. Charlene T. Robertson, MD

She was a perfectly pleasant doctor. Seemed professional and nice (although rather cold/reserved), but after attending her practice for almost ten years and switching to another doctor (change of insurance), I found out that the dosage she gave me for my Hashimoto's was far too small. I continued having multiple unwanted symptoms but because my test results kept coming back good, my dosage was never adjusted. I found out that the dose she gave me is a starting one and she never increased it.

I am really pleased with my new endocrinologist, she was very professional and explained every medication I take to me. At the end of my first visit I felt like I was finally able to have a doctor that cares about the management of my diabetes. That is why I gave 5 stars.

I'm 77 yrs, old and I have been seeing Dr. Robertson for over 10 years. She is outstanding, very thorough, and efficient. Beyond that her knowledge is second to none.

My husand has been going to Dr. Robertson for a couple of years now due to thyroid cancer & assorted difficulties with medication. She has been professional & caring, giving information when asked. We have never had a problem getting an appt & her staff has always been caring & compassionate. She has called my husband after hours to answer questions, he had during his visit this past friday, that he thought of over the weekend. I called her staff, asked them if she could call us back & answer a couple of questions, she called us back & went over his concerns with him. We like her very much

I was recommended to her by primary doctor. At first all fine, flexed my thyroid meds etc... when I began asking questions on other side effects, she started going through the computer she spends most of her time on in the visits, and I promise, I think she went to WebMD, because it was exactly what WebMD had listed in the same order! Felt this was a waste of time, I switched endocrinologists and am doing great, they actually took the time to listen to concerns and helps fix them. She truly seemed as if she wanted to not be there on any appointments.

I am surprised to see all the negative reviews. I have been going to Dr. Robertson for over 2 years now. She is very knowledgeable and has help me tremendously. My A1c has improved and I have much better control of my blood sugars. I have seen Dr. Robertson at every appointment I've had. She spends a lot of time with me at each appointment. Her staff is very warm and friendly. I highly recommend her.

Her staff never follows thru. Phone calls are returned later than promised or sometudes not at all. She only handles problems in Friday. Paperwork on Fridays if time permits.

I've been seeing Dr Charlene Robertson for 9 months. And she's an ok doctor. She's adjusted my medication for diabetes and taken me off insulin--because I have been managing my bgl well. I still consider that a significant change that warrants the doctor's attention. We scheduled a follow up 3 months ago and today I'm being told by the office that Doctor Robertson and her physicians assistant "switch off" and Doctor Robertson doesn't think seeing me herself is important enough. I've been passed to the PA without asking me or telling me until two days before the appt. I've already had the blood work done, but they said if I want to see my ACTUAL doctor, I'd have to reschedule for the end of October. I ALREADY SCHEDULED DR ROBERTSON THREE MONTHS AGO--is she just going to pass me off again? I'm not going to reschedule. For an office I barely like, this is a disappointment, but not all that surprising. For an office that blasts the Christian station in the waiting room, they… sure don't know how to treat their patients like people. I would give zero stars, but that's not an option.

I would like to file a complaint against the above mentioned "doctor" I have a serious thyroid problem and was recommended to this so called "Endo doctor" by my primary care physician. I have gone twice for blood work and although they receive the results within three days, unless you hound them on the phone, they won't even call you. I am also putting a complaint in with the Florida Medical Board because this woman is unprofessional, uncaring and in it for the money what I can see. Her office sure took my money fast enough but when it comes down to my health, still no phone call. They have my blood results since last Thursday and today is now Wednesday and still no call. I called the office first thing this morning, being THEY didn't call ME and I was told by the girl who answered the phone she would have this "so called doctor" call me. Well, of course the call never came so when I called after work, after waiting all day for a phone call and got her answering service. The… answering service would not take my message and told me I had to call the office... REALLY??? I have called them many times and they never call me back or tell me they will and they don't. Should anything happen to my health, I will be suing this doctor for negligence. I know I need my medication adjusted and I could wind up in the hospital waiting on this so called doctor. I have also went and attached some links for you to see the reviews she gets from other patients. This woman should not be in the medical field at all. Please, listen to the patient and their needs and get this one off the board! She does only harm, and no good!!
