Dr. Charles Fouad Abboud, MD

He was the most inefficient not to mention careless doctors I have ever seen. I expected more of this tertiary clinic based on its stellar reputation. Not only was Abboud not able to figure out my case, he made it abundantly clear he didn't care. He made misogynistic remarks as well as attempting to drag me into a political debate because he has a chip on his shoulder about a certain political party and people from my state in general. He also expressed his disdain for Jewish people because he is Palestinian and tried wage an argument for his point of view. I didn't go there for anything except decent medical care that I cannot get at home. He also made my appointments an exercise in humiliation when it was clear I would not take his side politically. He had me undress completely from the waist down and walk across the room and then bend over. He said it was to check for scoliosis. I have been checked before and definitely not like this. He also tried to hug me on several occasions… when he wasn't outright insulting me. He doesn't belong there or even in the tiny town I live in. The things he said and did sound like malpractice to me and he should have retired years ago. I hope this deplorable behavior isn't standard for him. I cannot imagine what brought this on but I deserved to be treated with dignity and respect no matter my gender, age, where I come from or what my political views are. He has no business even dragging politics into that institution especially when he cannot treat all patients the same no matter what. I believe that is part of doing no harm.
