Dr. Charles Alan Richardson

Initially we thought Dr. Richardson was a good doctor. Our last visit consisted of him talking about the number of patients Banner wants him to see in a day. That translates to "you're one of the numbers" I have had hip problems for years. I told Dr. Richardson that the pain was getting unbearable. His decision was to send me to a pain clinic. My decision was to see an Orthopedic specialist. 6 weeks later I had a hip replacement! Really? He didn't see this coming? Banner also managed to lose the records for a prescription drug my husband had been on for years. He had the prescription bottle in his hand and called in to ask what the refill problem was. They thought it was a good idea to argue with him. Wrong. We have since left Dr. Richardson and Banner. Talking with some other area folks, we don't seem to be the only ones. On a personal note, I think Dr. Richardson is a nice guy. Probably a lot of fun to go out with but inconsistent and untrustworthy as a Doctor.

My second visit to this doctor was the worst doctor visit in my 56 years. He is unstable, condescending and abusive. Stay away from this bully.

Dr. Richardson is a caring man with great humor and easy demeanor. My Father, husband and sons have been treated well and all questions answered. Dr. Richardson is knowledgeable in the broad scope of medicine as he has had to share medical expertise with Oncologists and Nephrologists for my father as well as Cardiology and using the information on labs to coordinate with all for my father which was beneficial for my fathers good health now. All my men respect and listen to Dr. Richardson and have followed him to his next position.
