Spoke with Dr. Amelemah, he refused to listen to me when I described my symptoms and explained what was happening with my body. My primary care physician is out on leave and Dr. Amelemah was the on-call doctor. The wrong prescriptions were called in, and I was given a drug that made me sicker. When I tried to explain my symptoms, Dr. Amelemeh and what had already been described, he told me he was calling something else into the pharmacy, I did not understand what he said through his thick accent and asked repeatedly what he was prescribing me. Considering that this was the third time I was asking for the correct medicine, a decongestant rather than an allergy medicine (repeatedly said I do not have allergies) Dr. Amelemah told me I was rude and hung up on me without explaining the drugs he was prescribing. I am sick, I don’t feel well, and now treated horribly by the on all doctor who couldn’t be bothered to take the time to be kind or listen to my concerns about… said prescribed medication. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER at Mercy Comprehensive Care. See anyone else. THE WORST. And I still have not received the care I need.
