Dr. Charles T Arena, MD

I had problems with my foot for about a year before going to see Dr. Arena. In that time I researched my condition and did everything to try and help myself. I went to see him and he told me to do what I've been doing the last year. Fine. You're the doctor, no problem. After a few months (over a year) with no alleviation of pain, he sends me to physical therapy. This lady treated me like I just had surgery and had to get "back in action". I was in more pain after seeing her. For 4 months...finally I went back to Arena. Told him that I felt like I was being treated for the wrong problem. He says it's "supposed to hurt". I've had enough pain. He says let's try a boot. Ok. Then my job kicks me out because I need steel toe. Out on fmla for a few months. No reprieve. Go back and get a stem cell shot. " It's 99% effective , and will cost you $400 out of pocket". Ok let's try. Nothing. I haven't gone back because I don't want to hear that I'm not doing my part. For $45 a visit, he can keep… his opinions to himself. A year and a half of seeing him, still in pain.
