Terrible!!!!!!!!! After my sons circumcision there was heaving bleeding and a clot developing. I texted nurse Skye because my family of nurses and surgeons said he needs to go in to get it looked at, rudely said that my family doesn’t know anything. She said he’s perfectly fine “because I’m a worried first time mom” i ended Up taking my son to the ER, and the ER doc said good thing we came in! The Motrin which the doctor prescribes causes blood clots. I then texted nurse Skye and told her what the ER doctor said and she rudely responded saying what i said isn’t true! My son is perfectly fine. So then we go in for a check up 2 days later and Dr Baldwin is in a hurry, forces his hands in my sons mouth to check his tongue tie, makes him SCREAM,, rips off his pamper off and makes his stitches bleed and says “see you in 3 weeks for a follow up and runs out!” I was Furious!!!! Down right rude, and i am Reporting him to the medical board. OH and the wait was 2 hours...after my appointment… DO NOT COME TO THIS OFFICE

Skye Baldwin is a nurse working for her husband, Dr. Charles Baldwin. She demonstrated a gross lack of compassion and care operating as the nurse to my child. My son was circumcised recently at their practice. He has always been a very happy and easy-going baby. He is not a big crier and if he cries at all, it is exclusively for a reason that, once addressed, ceases all crying immediately. After the surgery I could not soothe my son. He was in pain and inconsolable for hours. I thought this was probably normal, he did just have surgery after all. To be on the safe side I called Dr. Baldwins office to inquire about his personality change. Skye had specifically stated multiple times that he would not be in any pain whatsoever after going home from the surgery. He seemed obviously in pain to me and I told her as much, with an inquiry on what I should do to help him. Skye became immediately defensive and actually downright nasty. She snapped at me that my child was not in pain, that… that was impossible. She stated that my son was crying because he had colic. This was beyond offensive and frankly completely inaccurate. My son is the opposite of colicky. I began to get upset and she told me then that she was really sorry that I was struggling so terribly with all my post partum hormones. I felt completely invalidated as a parent to my baby, their patient. My baby who was suffering in pain, and she did not have the tiniest shred of empathy or care for any of us in my family. I also attempted to speak with Dr. Charles Baldwin at that point, to ask him a few questions about my son's surgical procedure and ensure everything was normal. Skye told me my son and I were not a priority and that he wouldn't be able to speak to us for several days. Never in my life have I been treated by a medical professional the way that Skye Baldwin treated my son and I. It was a degrading and horrible experience. The level of care that my child received was beyond unacceptable. I am reporting her to the Texas Medical Board, and I suggest anyone else who has been abused by Skye Baldwin to do the same. No one with her bedside manner has any business operating in the healthcare industry.

Our daughter had surgery with Dr. Baldwin. We found him and his staff to be competent, supportive, knowledgeable and courteous. He made us feel at ease during a very stressful time

Rudest staff I have ever dealt with.

As a fellow healthcare provider, I can assure you that I send all of my patients, friends and Family to Dr. Baldwin. He is a gifted and skilled surgeon. His nurse, Skye, was so nurturing and accommodating. I am not sure of the one star reviews. In my experience, people who leave one star reviews are dealing with some other issues. Dr. Baldwin has performed surgery on all three of my children with excellent results. I highly recommend Dr. Baldwin

Dr. Baldwin and Nurse Skye make an amazing team. Together, they helped my wife and I feel very comfortable with our son's circumcision. The staff was very accommodating and the procedure was better than we could have ever expected. Do not hesitate to take your child to Dr. Baldwin. He is the best in San Antonio

Dr. Baldwin has operated on my teenage daughter twice. He is knowledgeable, inspires confidence, is caring and approachable. I would recommend him without hesitation, and I am a parent who does her homework, and is unfortunately not new to the medical scene. Without question, this is the man I would want to operate on any of my children if there was a need. My daughter loved him. He has a great personality and is reassuring. He answered all of our questions and did so in a way that we could fully understand. He is a dedicated doctor - and a remarkable guy.

Dr Baldwin has a great deal of compassion, knowledge and skill in treating his patients. Our son needed an inguinal hernia repair and we were so comforted by his warm personality and care of our son. We could not have asked for a better experience! We additionally brought our newborn daughter for ear piercing and it was a wonderful experience! She hardly even cried! His nurse and staff are awesome. I would highly recommend Dr Baldwin.

Dr Baldwin repaired our son's inguinal hernias. We could not have asked for a kinder more knowledgable surgeon. He made us feel very comfortable and took great care of our child with excellent results.

I can't speak for the person that gave Dr. Baldwin only 1 star, but I will say this: All doctors are imperfect humans. They have good days and bad. They make mistakes, and can sometimes come across as superior. My personal experience with Dr. Baldwin was awesome. My 11 month old son had a tumor/cyst in his left lower leg and we were terrified. Dr. Baldwin listen to our concerns, respected our religious beliefs and gave us his plan. Everything worked out perfect. We could not be happier. The only downside was our last visit with Dr. Baldwin, when he told us that our son no longer had to come back. I would highly recommend Dr. Baldwin and his wonderful staff.
