Doctors are NOT Therapist so you will not get to spend a lot of time with them on every visit. He listens & makes sure you are responding to treatment. If you need something more let him know! He has helped me a lot.

Gives me 2-3 minutes of his time then hands me a prescription, and that's how every appointment is. He knows nothing about me. I suspect the hospital (his employer) loves his profitable neglect.

He took his time with me and could tell when I was in the right frame of mind to be in control of certain situations.Hes strict almost like a father figure.He tells it like it is.A+

He is a sadist. He must be because he puts his patients through torture and tries to control them by playing God. Causing them to suffer instead of finding answers or help. And in the end you are far worse than when you began. My family has mixed opinions about him 2 think he's a very helpful, caring individual the other 2 think he's a sadist (or worse). And he's very brief. How can you help someone when you spend less time with them than you do the first page of the morning paper? I really tried to trust him but it's hard to have trust in someone like that and if you're like me you already have a hard enough time trusting anyone.

Good, All Docs could use more time with us patients, time and money against us all. Thankful they are there!

the most arrogant dr. i have ever seen . he has no business working at a mental health facility. i would like to know when it went from a job he loved to a career he hates .

This one thinks he has been there done that. Has absolutely no regard for the individual. If at all possible, ignore. At the best totally AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This doctor is atrocious. He was assigned to my sister after she made a suicide attempt (not her first). We were in the midst of an excellent family therapy session and felt we were being able to share our observations of what led up to this moment and we were pleading for inpatient help, including a neurological exam to see if her behavior issues are related to a brain injury from twenty years ago. He popped his head in the door, asked if we would agree to her being discharged before the 72 hour hold. When I said no and began to explain why I was afraid she would still hurt herself, he cut me off and told me she wouldn't be having a neurological work up or a caseworker to work with her on following through on meds, housing stability, finances, and more. He didn't want any information regarding the big picture of my sister's mental health condition and she does not give an accurate picture on her own. As family we have watched her destroy her life and have tried to get her help… for years. I found him rude, condescending, unwilling to do the research needed to gain a true picture of the client, and inflexible. I fear my sister has been discharged before she is ready - only time will tell - and that his primary goal was to prescribe a med and clear the bed. I had spent an afternoon trying to clean up the blood from my sister's suicide attempt! If she succeeds any time soon, I will be placing the blame squarely at his feet. I am disappointed and worried about the future for my sister under his care.
