Dr. Charles Wilson Bounds, MD

I think Dr Bounds is a great doctor. I have been with him since he was with Regenisis. If I have to reschedule an appointment the wonderful buses there try and make it within the week or even the next day. I don’t know what the one poster was talking about with living too far away. I like 40 minutes away and there is no issues with me being seen. Dr Bounds has been my saving grace in more ways than one. He cares about his patients and gives the right care they need. I trust Dr Bounds with my life and would never see a different doctor. He deserves 20 stars for the help he provides.

I called to make an appointment after being established there. That’s when they decided to tell me they wouldn’t see me because ultimately “I live too far away”. That same day I was in a car accident and had to be taken to the hospital. I called back to see if they could see me just one more time. They said no. I have a torn rotator cuff upon exam. Now I’m bouncing from urgent care to ERs trying to find someone willing to help. I need referrals and medications. “First do no harm” well I’m probably going to tear up my shoulder more with this delay of care. Couldn’t even give me one more appointment for an MRI and referral to ortho or ANY sort of direction.

I don't trust doctors. I've always had bad experiences with them. My son and I almost died because the doctors wouldn't listen to me (while I was pregnant). So it takes A LOT for me to trust a doctor. Not only is he a great doctor, his bedside manner is amazing. He understands that I have anxiety and knows how to make me feel comfortable coming to the office. Really just a great human being in general. Would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Dr. Bounds has been my family doctor for 19 years. He is also my husband's family doctor and until her death at age 92, my mother's doctor. He is an excellent doctor and diagnostician. He never rushes me out of his office to see the next patient and "listens" to whatever health problems I have. When my mother came to live with us and had alzheimers disease, he took her on as a patient also. I was very impressed with his "bedside manner" with her. We couldn't be more pleased with him as our family doctor. Both my husband and I have seen most of the other doctors in the group from time to time and all of them have been very good , too.
