Dr. Charles Jacob Brown, MD

This is a doctor who knows dermatology. I am in the medical field & feel very comfortable in Dr. Browns diagnosis. He knows the skin!

I have always had a great experience with any treatment I had at Dr. Brown's everyone in his practice is kind courteous and professional

His bedside manner is not for everyone because he doesn't believe in blowing smoke at you, but instead tells it like it is. "This is what you have and this is how we treat it." Straight forward, no trying to sell me hundreds of dollars in creams, lotions, etc from his in office "store". I respect that in a provider. Staff is friendly and competent. Office could use some updating but I hear they are moving soon. Would recommend to anyone who wants a skilled physician. Unless, of course, you want to be babied and petted. Then you will have to go elsewhere.

No doubt about it...Dr. Brown probably saved me from a serious cancer problem which was overlooked twice by another doctor. He may not be Dr. Kildare, but he does what a good dermatologist ought to do: be thorough, be competent and take care of the problem. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my health.

One visit to this doctor was enough. Terrible "bedside manner" and almost an hour late for the appointment. He seemed to have no interest in hearing patient concerns and seemed almost resentful that patient would even ask questions.

He is great doctor. But very hard to get in.

I have never been treated so rude in all my life. I had scheduled an appointment months ago with Dr. Brown and even called his office last week to confirm my appointment date and time. I drove 1 hour and 40 minutes to get to his office and had to take a day off from work for this appointment. When I checked in they told me they did not have me down for an appointment with Dr. Brown and asked me to wait. They gave me a consultation with him which I did not need. I had seen him a year ago for the same issue and was there for further treatment. His whole staff including Dr. Brown treated me as if the appointment problem was my fault. He told me he would not see me today because it would mess up the rest of his day and schedule. He just walked out of the office. No one even apologized. I would not use him even if he is good at his job. Being that rude is uncalled for.

I just want to get rid of my Acne scars, but he prescribed me with a very strong medicine with very strong side effects even he knows I can't take it. I felt really sick. Then he gave me another facial gel, I just used it twice and got serious allergy for days with affects my work too. Then he prescribed me with another liquid which contains alcohol to cure the allergy, which make my face even burned more!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to use iced milk to cure myself now. If you are pretty and don't want to become ugly, then never go to Charles Brown's office!!

I have seen Dr. Brown for both Cosmetic and General Dermatology for years. He is a true artist in the field of cosmetic dermatology and has a very good eye for doing full body skins checks. He has the most helpful office staff of any medical office that I have ever visited. I would highly recommend him.
