I tried to give dr Burke the benefit of the doubt and allow my self to become “vulnerable “ to him with my mental health (after leaving a mentally abusive situation ). I explained to him my situation at the very first appointment ; I have anxiety with trusting , relying on people, being alone with people etc… he gave me a big spiel about trusting him because he’s employed by me blah blah blah.. after 4 months of seeing him Monthly ; being put on medications for my mental health needs, and now relying on these medications not only for my mental well being but also my physical . I was put in a situation yesterday with him that I was fearful of (not physical but mental, emotional … Big smart Dr Talking down to a little non confrontational women who has already been abused manipulated and treated less than.). Every visits we go through the same convo “do u have ur shot “ “r u getting your shot?” I sit and listen to all his facts with my mask on sitting 6ft apart (and I don’t mind because… I respect every opinion ). Well the last visit it turned south and wasn’t the same conversation.. it went from 0 to 100 quickly .. along with threats (to call the state ), me being called selfish , and those r only a few things .. I told him I’m not for or against it , I’m just confused by everything , he wouldn’t let me explain my feelings as a person that is constantly confused by the mixed information that is constantly flying around (even though I listen to him every time without any fuss or disrespect). I left his office feeling discouraged , less than , depressed and anxious. I called office and he returned my call with a voicemail stating he would like to talk to me about our conversations ; he has more information etc… I am not giving him a bad review because of his opinions , I am giving him a bad review because of the way he spoke to me .. as a mental health professional he should be ashamed of the way he spoke to someone who is seeking help … my thoughts are ; more people r dying from suicide and the helplessness that comes along with mental illness (and the inability to seek help), then the amount of people dying from covid (I am heartbroken for all the families who have to struggle with the loss caused by covid but also think that mental illness right now is just a severe and painful ). I am so disheartened by the treatment I received by him … and now I am in a helpless place with my mental health problems , the feelings of helpless , discouraged , and alone .. thanks dr Burke for your knowledge about covid , and no consideration for the struggles I came to you with ..

If I could give him a lower rating than 1 star I would. Like other peoples experience, this doctor is unprofessional, doesn’t listen to patients needs, and changed my husbands meds all at once. He has high blood pressure and heart rate and prescribed him Aderall. He took him OFF his anxiety meds during the course of his treatment with the “Doctor”. SO he has a high heart rate and BP during a pandemic, and who is also suffering from losing a loved one, but yes, please take him off the anxiety meds! He will -not- respond to email and leaves you hanging when it matters the most. The nurse literally had to print off an email and bring it into him. Even then he still did not respond (This was over a week, no vacation, no holiday, he just chose not to respond). He is honestly the most unprofessional “Doctor” we have ever met. He seems to only care about money and not the patients. I encourage prospective patients to do their research but like others, we cannot recommend.

Self absorbed and judgmental jerk. I actually felt better about myself after seeing how miserable this man is!

Do not visit . He has worse mental health issues then the people he’s trying to treat . Complete psycho
