Dr. Charles William Chia, MD

Would not remove something from my lip that turned out to be cancerous, as I learned after paying cash to a differrntu, non-Kaiser dermatologist. Not sure why he holds onto such an arrogant attitude. Would recommend seeing someone else if possible.

Never met a more arrogant doctor that spent literally 45 seconds and told me there was nothing he could do. Literally the worst dermatologist I’ve ever seen. Kaiser hires some of the worst doctors. He’s one of them.

Based on a single visit to have a suspicious skin spot checked, I found Dr. Chia to be very personable and knowledgable. He identified the spot immediately, as well as other marks I was concerned about that turned out to be nothing. I will go back to him.

He failed to do an exam. He did a quick look and said I was OK. Saw a different doctor and was treated for multiple areas. He did not seem to care about my well being. Would never return. I would drive the 20+ miles to Woodland Hills to see a true Dermatologist.

I have had numerous visits with Dt Chia and about time I commented. He takes time to listen, knows exactly what the diagnosis is and he is very comforting as a Doctor. Particularly when someone is working on facial problems it makes me anxious. I’m afraid that I may be scarred or have Cancers or ??? He has always been very professional, gracious and kind. He ihas the characteristics that I wish every doctor had. I know... we’re all different and we all have our own personalities. I have total faith in his expertise, his answering questions , his diagnosis and thoughtful consultations and suggestions for aftercare. He is the best. I wait for appointments no matter how busy he is. I’ll take whatever is available to be able to have his care. Thank you Dr Chia !!!

I saw him 7 years ago. I had a very, very unique trauma happen to the skin below my eyes and eyelids. A horrible allergic reaction or possibly bad chemicals in a over the counter eye cream. It totally puffed out my eyes and burnt my akin and damaged it forever. He acted like nothing was there and that I was crazy. I hope this review hurts his business. For me, he was awful and actually ride and disrespectful. Waste of time and offered no help at all or possible prognosis. 7 years later, I have shown improvement thanks to God, not medical science. It is extremely slow in healing and I have no idea how I have endured this. I was completely disfigured and damaged 8n my eye area and because he knew there was possibly nothing that could be done, he would rather act like uhj was crazy and say "I don't see anything. What is it supposed to look like?" Smirk smirk shake head roll eyes... Worst bedside manner I have ever experienced in my 42 years. Stay away. I have never… forgotten that experience still to this day. He doesn't deserve yo be successful. I can tell he is not a good person.

He is a excellant Dr. He spends time and is very professional and very thorough. I meet him in the Camarillo Office.

Misdiagnosed after the doctor did not want to hear of my symptoms as he made up his mind that he nailed the diagnosis. Only upon numerous requests did he take a sample, and it was minimal at that, the whole time reiterating how right he is that the sample will show nothing.
