After fellowship, I moved to Las Vegas and started medical practice.
Within 1 year, I became third busiest nephrologists in Las Vegas (out of 56 nephrologists).
I had one of the busiest outpatient clinic in Las Vegas, focused on early intervention of kidney disease and prevention of kidney failure.
I am proud to say that I had one of the busiest practice of kidney disease in Las Vegas, No. 3, but had least number of dialysis patients (probably the bottom 3rd) and slowest growing of dialysis patient pool on my practice compared to any other in the town. THIS IS MEDICARE DATA. I feel this indicates I had prevented more of my patients from progressing into end stage kidney disease.
I closed my practice in Las Vegas and moved to Los Angeles in 2014, to come back closer to home and family.
In my new LA practice, I'm focusing on preventive and holistic approach of medicine (not just nephrology but internal medicine as well).
