Dr. Charles Frederick Cockerell, MD

Dr. Charlie was our children's pediatrician for many many years. He, Dr. Kirby-Diaz, Dr. VanBiber and Debbie, the allergy nurse have ALWAYS taught, listened, and been caring and overall OUTSTANDING. Dr. Charlie is also a rarity. He's knowledgeable AND can be humble. I won't go into the specifics , but his statement to me, 'I'm learning to listen to mothers,' meant the world to me. He listened to me on a health challenge my daughter was experiencing but he hadn't been able to hear it through his stethoscope. Because he listened, our daughter got the correct diagnosis and treatment and got well. I will forever be grateful that he listened. We are blessed to have been lead to Dr. Charlie more than 25 years ago and it's bittersweet that our youngest is about to move on to a doctor who treats adults. We will miss these wonderful providers and yet will also refer people with young children to this practice to experience the same warmth and caring that we did.

THROUGH PHONE IS VERY POOR...I DON'T GET THE EXACT INSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION WITH THE NURSE..TELLING ME TO LEAVE A MESSAGE TO THE NURSE THEN WHEN THE NURSE CALLS BACK SHE'LL ASK WHAT'S UP??? DON'T KNOW WHAT IS MY CONCERN...BUT OVERALL THIS DOCTOR IS THE BEST
