My profession is also my passion! I love the art and science of dentistry, and always strive to give our patients the highest quality procedures using the best technology available. Our patients are like our extended family, and we always treat them with kindness, respect, and a gentle touch.
Education
In order to become a dentist, I first attained my Biomedical Science Degree from Texas A&M in 1996. I then went on to receive my DDS from Baylor Dental School in Dallas, graduating in 2000. For the past ten years, I have worked every day to make sure my patients are as healthy and comfortable as possible!
Continuing Education
I always complete two to three times more continuing education than is required per year. Dentistry interests me! I need to know I’m utilizing the most current techniques, materials, and equipment to give my patients the highest quality dentistry. I have taken multiple courses in the Dawson Academy and Spears Institute. Many …people do not realize each tooth has a specific function, position, size, and shape which will ensure harmony and balance to the whole dental system. A dentist must be able to confidently restore a mouth with predictable results to prevent future teeth, muscle, and jaw joint problems.

Restoring someone’s mouth is an important service. Eating healthy foods will improve general health and quality of life, though some people cannot eat proper foods due to pain or discomfort. Being able to enjoy a variety of foods is a right everyone should have. I am honored to help our patients improve their bite and function in order to live a healthy life!
But dentistry isn’t just about function. It is also about helping people attain a smile they are proud of! Many times, our patients come in embarrassed about their teeth. Through various available treatments, we are able to give people a smile they love to share!
We love connecting with our patients and finding out what makes them happy. Customer service isn’t just about gentle dentistry. It’s about building a community and making each patient look forward to their visits! Our patients make my practice great. Every person is different and the patients make every day unique and fun!
Personal Life
I am a Texan, born and raised! I grew up in Houston and have lived in Tyler for the past six years. My wife, Ashley, and I are proud to raise our kids here. We also have many animals in our family, including three cats, one dog, one rabbit, and a few fish!
My hobbies include going to the lake, golfing, attending my children’s sports and school events, and hunting. I also enjoy volunteering for my church, as well as for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I also spend time serving people through the Texas Mission of Mercy and Dentistry With a Heart.
