I've been a patient of Dr Doering for over 10 years. He has done 2 procedures for me with great outcomes. He is professional, polite and best of all, now on time for appointments since he started his own practice.

The office staff is always very nice and I am always quickly seen. Dr. Doering takes time to answer your questions and breaks down the information so that you are able to easily understand.

For over 10 years Dr. J Doering gave me injections for macular degeneration which kept me seeing well. Then he took time to set up a solo practice, I had 3 different drs and my eyesight gradually got worse. After Dr. Doering opened his new office, his first injection cleared up my sight & now I can see to read t words on the TV again. I recommend him highly as I thought I was going blind with treatment from the other drs. His new office is in Pawleys Island, SC. He is an awesome doctor. I am very grateful for his ability to keep me seeing again.

Dr Doering took me in on a minute ‘s notice. I have been through multiple procedures over the past few months. While here on vacation, I had a scare and called for an appointment. He was kind, reassuring, and knowledgeable. If there is a bit of a wait when you go to see him, keep in mind that he may be seeing someone like me who needs him terribly. I apologize if someone had to wait because of me, but i am grateful that I wasn’t turned away. Keep in mind, it could be you someday who is need of immediate attention.

I would only trust Dr. Doering for my retinal issues. Expert in his field. Staff is also very accommodating and professional.

Excellent Doctor and excellent staff. He saved my wife from going blind in Her left eye. He. Has an excellent personality and loves his patients. He was definitely God sent to my wife. Excellent surgeon. I highly recommend him and Coastal Eye Group in Murrells Inlet and Tidelands Hospital in Georgetown.
