Dr. Charles Eric Eberly, MD

After telling him when I had my first migraine after a car accident, he later informed me I had migraines brought on by my menstrual cycle. That is what he wrote in my chart! He wasn't listening at all!

Dr eberly' staff is rude when contacting them through email or phone. Don't expect to get an apt with him anytime soon. He books up a year in advance, so if you need him you have to make an apt with a nurse practitioner. Will never recommend anyone to go to him.

His staff is awful. Took three days to get them to call in my prescription. Dr. Eberly is fantastic, but he should try hiring better staff and preferably ones that speak ENGLISH!!!

In the 3 years I've actively had Eberly as my doctor, he has called to reschedule my appointment not 1, not 2, but SIX times. And the appointments are always 6-9 months out. Recently I went to the office for a 10:30 appointment and arrived at 10:42 due to traffic. They marked me as a "no show" and told me I needed to reschedule. This particular appointment had already been rescheduled by THEIR office 3 times. This was the last straw. See another doctor.

He did not spend hardly anytime with me, after spending over an hour in the waiting area. He suggested botox treatment my insurance will not cover at approximately $2000 a session. Then did not offer any tangible alternatives. Thank goodness I showed up 30 minutes early to complete the 10 minutes of paperwork for the rude office staff. I will not only never see this doctor again, I am not returning to the Neurology Center.

WORST so called Dr. I have EVER been to.

He did nothing for my pain, nor did he determine anything we didn't already know. He said my neck was stiff and I needed a carpal tunnel syndrome test (which was already scheduled by the Neuromedical Center). I had proof on a CD of two bulging discs, disc deterioration, and degenerating facets in my cervical spine. My copay was $40 which I refused to pay. He told me I needed to go back to my pain management doctor (even though I told Dr Eberly that I NEVER once saw the pain specialist doctor, and my last appointment with them was NINE months ago). I requested a shot (only to find that it had been recalled) so I received NO help. To add insult to injury he walked out of the office and his nurse asked, "what did you think?" and he replied, "she is weird." Yeah, I'm "weird", I see a counselor for that. My "weirdness" had nothing to do with my poor quality of physical functioning. I poured my heart out to him and he wasn't the least bit compassionate, just unconcerned and indifferent.

Dr. Eberly has been my Neurologist for several years now and that may be why I rate him so high. Neurologists are notoriously cold and technical and at first I found Dr. Eberly that way but over time we have forged a good relationship. Dr. Eberly and I have become very close when I revealed to him a major problem I was having. Dr. Eberly goes out of his way to help me and has sent me to other doctors if he feels that I need help in another area. He stays on top of my health problems and esp. my migraines. I know I could go to Eberly for help at any time. He is one of the best doctors I have and I rely on him for help. The day that I told him everything I was going through and he saw how much pain I'd been hiding from him he really warmed up to me. He has helped my parents understand my situation and has made other services at the Neurology Clinic available to me. He is a very caring and concerned doctor.

I saw this doctor 3 times. He didn't take my condition very seriously. I was scheduled to see him waited one hour to see him and an assistant came in to tell me he did not have time to see me that day and I was forced to reschedule. When I tried to describe my issues and how my headaches were getting worse and my allergy to triptans. He gave me medication and when I told him it was not working, he discharged me from the clinic.
