Dr. Charles David Eller, MD

I’ve had awful experiences at St. Mark’s hospital & the ER. A friend that worked at the hospital agreed to go with me for support. UofU ER placed a catheter 2 days prior and told me it had to be removed within 3 days. I tried St. Mark's to try to avoid the long waits at UofU. But this visit was the worst yet. I went to the ER to have a catheter removed, check on my kidney infection, and seeking help for severe abdominal pain. Dr. Eller said “smarter doctors than I have looked at you and couldn’t find the problem, so why should I try?” He gave me a dissociative anesthetic (ketamine), removed the catheter, forced me to undergo a psych eval while on dissociative meds, and then told me to leave. My friend and I left while uncontrollably crying. I didn’t know it at the time, but I had my first heart attack 2 days before that visit, at age 40, with an underweight BMI . If they had done any basic testing, they might have prevented the long term effects I’m still suffering. I tried to end my… life that night because I’d been experiencing SEVERE abdominal pain for months and I’d lost all hope after that visit with Dr. Eller. But I've endured. Until very recently, none of the doctors I've seen have even pretended to care. It’s now been almost 6 years and I’ve finally found a doctor that cares, but I’m still miserable.
