I had a poor experience at Dr. Engelbrecht's office. First, he canceled my initial appointment with little notice without explanation. Second, he is listed as accepting Badgercare, but at the office, I was told the pt must have an additional comorbidity affecting the eye to be accepted. He is listed as accepting United Healthcare Community Plan under his provider profile, which he apparently does not. Let me be clear, I did not ultimately receive any medical care from Dr. Engelbrecht, as he did not accept my insurance.
