Dr. Charles Lewis Fellows, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Fellows in my early years. I remember I had a carbuncle on my knee and my mother brought me to Dr. Fellows and he lanced it, put medicine and a bandage on it and I was on my way. That was in 1951 when I was 5 yrs old. I remember he had an office that was in back of the old drug store, the entrance was on the east side of the center in Maplewood. The only thing I remember is I didn't like those shiny stainless steel sharp instruments he had, but he did a good job. About six months later I was running and fell off of a 6 foot high bridge and broke a couple of ribs. He put elastic bandage on me and told my parents that if he has any problems tonight to bring him to his house and he'll check me. He lived on East Lee about 7 or 8 houses down from ours. I only remember him talking to my mother and telling me not to squirm around. I've only heard good things about him.
