Dr. Charles Michael Fischman, MD

I have been seeing Dr Fischman for 19 years from minor things to major things My Cholesterol was so high and he was very concerned. We could not get it with a stable range he was so concerned that he sent me for a Calcium Test and the numbers on it was very high. Instead of doing different things he sent me to a cath lab and had a very good doctor go see if I needed a stent and to my amazement the widow maker artery was blocked 95 percent and 70 percent. Dr Fischman saved my life and he is amazing.

He was over an hour late. When he finally arrived, he was shockingly rude and argumentative. Then (in less than 5 min.) he walked out and refused to conduct the visit. I've been a healthcare professional for more than 20 years - and have never seen anything like this. I would not recommend him to anyone.

I first saw Dr. Fischman for serious allergies issues over 30 years ago. His treatment was very effective. Since that time I have seen him for general health issues. I find him to be very easy to talk to, listens carefully, and presents the treatment options with explaination.

Could not get an appointment because I had not seen the Doctor over the last 13 months-----so the office said I needed to go through the "new patient" intake process---again. Their rule was that if you hadn't seen the doctor in the last 12 months, you were no longer an "active" patient. So, you are penalized if you are "healthy" for over 12 months. In my case, it had been 13 months and so was denied service when I had (in my opinion) a health emergency. In my view, this 12 month rule is just stupid and resulted in medical "abandonment" in my situation. Four days later, my condition became so bad, I had to go to a hospital emergency room

My daughter has asthma and severe food allergies, Dr . Fischman helped us with both.

My mother went to see him and he would not see her, yes he turned her away! 68yr old lady! She waited 2 hours! She was devastated!!
