Dr. Charles Anthony Gargano, MD

I think I have been with Dr. Gargano for more than 10 years. I have no reservations about telling others about him for their medical needs. He is a pleasure to work with and is straight forward without being cynical with your issues. Keep up the great work Dr. G!

I have don't feel like Dr Gargano listen to very little of what I have to say and often have felt like he was dismissing or minimizing any complaints or health concerns I have. Because of this I no longer tell him about new or existing problems or symptoms unless I have no choice. I would rather just live with what is going on if it is possible. When I do need to be seen I relived when he is to busy and I need to see who ever is available. I also feel that I must hide my sense of humor and/or attempts to have a positive attitude despite all the medical problem I have to deal with. That is a big part of who I am and it hurts that I have to be on guard and hide "me". For most part I don't feel free to ask questions. I almost dread my appointments with him. It's sad considering I was so impressed with him after my first encounter with him and all the positive recommendations I heard. Before he became my primary doctor. I don't feel free to find a new primary and in fact have given up… hope in that department.

Dr. Gargano makes you feel comfortable--He is easy to talk to. He listens and responds to questions with helpful and clear information. He treats people with respect and honors their choices and decisions while giving very clear recommendations for treatment. His nurses are also wonderful.

Dr. Gargano is "the real deal." I've worked with physicians all over the country and I'd put him at the top of the heap. This man is not only patient, extremely bright and a tremendous physician, he also truly cares. I am fortunate to have him as my physician. Listen to him!

I can't say enough about Dr. Gargono; I was without healthcare for years after my husband died and we lost his insurance. When I learned that PeaceHealth would accept my state insurance plan, I was ecstatic. I was using free health clinics and while I was happy to have access to any level of healthcare; I knew I would be getting great comprehensive care through PeaceHealth. What I didn't know was that I would be given a Dr. who takes time to listen and respond to his patients concerns. He treats me with respect and works with me instead of "over me". I feel heard and respected and acknowledged as an important part of my healthcare plan. I have never had a physician whom I trusted and appreciated as much as Dr. Gargano. I present with some challenging issues and without his thorough and prompt care; I don't think I would be doing as well as I am. I can't say enough about this Dr. and believe me when I say I am not always an easy Pt.!
