Dr. Charles Edward Geringer, MD

I like Dr. Geringer. He is personable, explains your issues and pays attention to what I have to say/explain. Certain not stuffy or standoffish like some some specialists.

I have bad pain in my knee and leg muscles. On my first visit Dr Geringer did a complete check-up, spent time and explained everything to me.Before him I was seen another doctor of rheumatology after I lost my original doctor but compared to Dr Geringer this other doctor did not seem to know much of anything. Dr Geringer prescribed some X-Rays and from there he will see what I need to do to alleviate my pains. He is a great doctor! Francesco M.

Dr. Geringer is a good physician, but his clinical staff lacks professionalism and courtesy. When entering the office the staff does not greet you or even recognize that you are there for an appointment. I almost missed my appointment because the person behind the desk was to busy on personal phone calls. When I do need to call Dr. Geringer it is very difficult to speak with him due to the staff not giving him the calls to call the patient back. On a number of times I have called to office and repeatedly given them the phone number to contact me back I had to wait 5 days in severe pain to hear from him. When I was waiting for my appointment another patient approached me and said " this never occurred in his last office he was at.

I am soo happy I went to him. He makes you feel so comfortable and he is very nice he's down to earth kind of person.

this is my second Rheumatologist, and I was very happy with my first visit. He listened and answered any questions I had, he was very knowledgeable even with newest developments in RA research. I felt treated respectfully, and feel very confident that this doctor will help me in my battle with RA

I've been seeing Dr. Geringer over 10 years & I give him the highest praise. Dr.Geringer is a very friendly & caring Dr He gives you his full attention & doesn't rush you. I always bring a list of questions & he answers every one & no question is too stupid to ask. I don't mind waiting a little extra for my appointment(which isn't too often) because when he sees me he takes time with me. As for scheduling appointments, as an existing patient I usually see him every 2-3 months. I understand for new patients it can be 6 months. When I've had an urgent problem, Dr. Geringer has squeezed me in under 5 days & still spent a great deal of time with me. His nursing staff are very friendly & helpful also.

After waiting 3 months for an appointment they called to cancel it and said they would call me back to reschedule my appointment and never did call me!

He is the only reason I am still with Well Group. I honestly feel he has my best interests at heart.
