Dr. Charles Jonathan Glueck, MD

I am a former patient of Dr. Glueck and very grateful that he rightly diagnosed that I had 2 mutated genes. 2010 He chose to send my blood samples to specialists who determined that the samples included 2 mutated genes that were restraining development of essential levels of nitric oxide in my system. Blood vessels to my lower legs and feet were narrow and narrowing. He prescribed 2000 mg. Daily of L-Arginine. I have been on this regime for 81/2 years. Each oncologist and cardiologist that I have encountered since then , reduced other supplements but have always recommended the L-Arginine as a requisite along with their prescriptions /treatments. I am 76. Now I take only L-Arginine and Eliquis. My cancer has been in remission for 6 years. Other than arrhythmia, I am very well and work out at a gym.

Thought I was losing my mind, he literally saved my life!

I am so grateful for having found Dr. Glueck after learning of my osteonecrosis following a kidney transplant. I would probably be on my third set of hips by now, had I survived the replacements, as the local orthopedist recommended unaware of any clotting disorders I had. I hope Dr. Glueck reads this so that he knows what an angel he has been in my life. Thank you so much.

He helped me immensely! 20 years ago I saw several other Docs who couldn't help me then heard about him. He was the one who diagnosed my PCOS-something other Docs acted like they never heard of back then! With his presriptions and advice he helped me lose 80 pounds in 1 year!!!!! After I moved away he was willing to communicate through emails. It's been 15 years since I've seen him so don't know how he is now. It's worth checking him out. He may not have had the best bedside manner but he was willing to listen to personal experience. He was seen by so many people he didn't have alot of time but he spent more time than most Docs do. The most important thing is he knows what he's doing!

A great doctor. The most insightful, scientific Doctor we've ever had the honor of knowing. I am convinced that this researcher knows more about Factor 5 Leiden than anybody else... Plus other genetic anomalies. Brilliant. My wife would not be alive without him. I owe him the world...

Excellent Doctor!! One of the best!,!

Dr Glueck has got to be the worst dr I've seen.I went to him once and we rarely made eye contact. I left feeling worst then I did when I came into his office.He appeared to not be listening to me and his manner was overall arrogant and uninterested in my questions or concerns. He seems to lack focus and relies on his interns to gather information before you are called into his office.He offers no words of encouragement or support. He did however have his nurse follow up with blood test results following the first visit. Despite this experience, I mustered up enough courage to go back in his office for a follow up visit. This one left me feeling was worst then the first. I requested that the intern Dr who interviewed me prior to meeting with him exit so he could focus on me. He ignored me and kept the Dr in the whole time. Secondly I showed him a list of what I was taking including a product I had brought to help with my chronic leg cramps. He threw the empty box back at me or across… the desk,stating it was trash and I could throw it away. Following this visit I received lenghty report of test results, most of which I didn't understand and no direction for future taking of meds. So I called the nurse and she stated that much of what was there had some sort of interpretation. so I guess I'm stupid. She talked with me afterward saying that he said to increase my thyroid meds. She also stated that I needed additional vit d beyond what he had prescribed. She suggested I buy additional over the counter but never stated how much to increase. All this put a bad taste in my mouth for Dr Glueck. He answered my questions in an arrogant manner and seemed to object to my desire to discuss alternate ways to deal with my condition Further I would suspect that the positive reviews he has received are from patients that look like him and not like me.

Best Doctor you'll ever see! Saved my life.

I have been under Dr. Glueck care since 1993. He found out a had a blood clotting gene disorder that was causing my bones to dry up in the joints. I was diagnosed with avascular necrosis in every bone in my body. Even though I live in Northern Indiana I can call him and he would always return my call and answer my question with solutions. I respect him and believe he the best doctors I have ever known.

Dr. Glueck is very understanding. At first, he told me not to go ahead with a treatment I was thinking of doing. Then, when I pressed, he said to let him do some research. Within days, he had accomplished this task. He was entirely supportive of me and very thorough with any blood work.He returns emails quickly. Unlike some physicians, he is never arrogant or objects to questions. He gives his undivided attention. I love his sense of humor. He will tell a patient exactly what he thinks of smthg, no skirting around an issue. He was patient when I presented a multitude of questions - endocrinological, cardiac, thyroid. I feel entirely comfortable with him. Treated me as if I were a cherished family member. Gives 100%.
