If you are looking for quality health care stay away from Dr Goldsworthy and the Hoag ER

Dr Goldsworthy in my opinion is the MOST HORRIBLE DOCTOR in the WORLD!!!!!! Stay away unless you wanted to be disrespected and tortured by this arrogant doctor.

I went in for abdominal pain in the ER and before we even began talking he started down the path of minimizing my symptoms and explaining them away chalking them up to an overreaction. I suffered at home for an additional week because of his mistreatment and ended up getting so sick that I was in great danger. Dr Goldsworthy should have caught my diagnosis but did not look any further than the bare minimum. If you are a women in pain, I recommend requesting another physician. The era of doctors ignoring and mansplaining women’s symptoms away has got to end. Be braver than I was and fight to get testing done until they get to the root of your pain. Dr. Goldsworthy did not do this.

Worse quack this MENSA qualified chemist has ever had the misfortune to suffer under The only reason I gave 1 star is it is the lowest acceptable for a review. I worked in ERs large and small. Why would Hoag allow such a quack, I thought they cared.

Dr. Goldsworthy treated my 9 year old son in the ER for a fractured leg a few days ago. He was very attentive and sincere during the entire visit. He made certain that the splint was being fitted properly by the nurses. The entire ER staff deserves kudos for their speed and attention to detail on my son during a late Friday night.

This doctor was elusive, unhelpful, inexpert. His discharge instructions were given without having read my chart/paperwork and were therefore inappropriate. Even worse, he persisted in repeating them.

Excellent and thorough physician.
