Dr. Charles William Greene, MD

He and his protégé PA Haley only deserve negative stars for my care. It all starts off good during the first visit when it's just easy allergen testing, but then it all goes downhill once you have a real issue later on :[ If this sounds like the level of care that you're looking for then they're the ones for you!

Had a 1st time visit with Charles Greene & he prescribed penicillin but I had on my chart that I was allergic to it. He told me that a lot of times you grow out of your allergies as an adult. I took his word & when I left the office he had not given me anything to counter act it if I was still allergic to the penicillin. Well, I didn’t outgrow it & I called the office that Friday to see him but he was on vacation. I was told that they would call in an rx to counter the reaction but they NEVER did! That Monday I came in but Greene wouldn’t see me even though he gave me a life threatening drug! I saw an NP that gave me prednisone, a mouth wash that chemo patients use & a prescription sauce that I had to cover myself with because of the rash all over me! He is a negligent “Dr” & I don’t see how he has kept his license! He never saw me, or apologized to me but did charge me!

Dr. Greene took care of both of my sons when they were young. With my oldest son he was proactive and sent us to an ENT doctor for sinus surgery when Trey was in 3rd grade. The ENT told me that he would scan Trey's sinuses since we were sent by a doctor but he could assure us Trey was too young to have such sinus issues. He was surprised at his sinus condition and agreed to perform the surgery. Almost the same story for my youngest son, but the ENT did not question Dr. Greene's diagnosis. The surgery made a huge difference in the lives of both of my boys. They saw Dr. Greene quite often while they had to have allergy shots. He built relationships with the boys and always did what was best for them. Never, not once, was he in a hurry with them. He is an overall gifted doctor. His knowledge, manner, and treatment are second to none! -a mother

As a physician myself, I hesitate to write online but I must say that after having care with Dr. Greene for two of my family members, there is no other. To be quite honest, I have not encountered another MD with such a command of the human body. He is a thinker, a processor, and has such a vast knowledge that he can help with most any problem. Amazing. Be ready for straight talk though. I give my highest recommendation. Oh---and he cares.

Made 5 visits to Duke after several others in the upstate, SC. Also lived in NYC prior to that and saw several MDs in the city. Dr. Greene found my diagnosis in 2 visits and told me it would take an "off label" use of two medicines to help me. It did and what a miracle! I can't thank him enough. Now I can't find him---hELP!!!

Dr. Greene is the consummate professional! Bright, witty, kind, and well versed in his field, he makes my day every time I enter his presence. :)

Smart and kind Dr. with friendly staff and the building was very well maintained and clean

This guy is a savant. Worth the wait.
