I recently reached out to Dr. Charles Guglin seeking therapy options for a dear friend who is dealing with the aftermath of a broken wrist; specifically inflammation and nerve pain. Initially, I found him to be somewhat understanding. He even mentioned that they could offer an appointment within a week. However, our interaction took a disappointing turn. Instead of focusing on the PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) treatment we were interested in, Dr. Guglin began to push a variety of other therapies that we had not inquired about. His approach felt very much like that of a snake oil salesman. He offered an odd deal to provide one of these alternative treatments for free, yet still suggested we might consider PRP. When I reiterated that we were leaning towards PRP, Dr. Guglin went on a tirade that reeked of medical arrogance. He belittled my research into treatment options by stating that I "don’t need a Google Doctor to tell me what treatments are best", implying that any information I… gathered online was beneath his expertise. Doctors like Dr. Guglin, who exhibit a superiority complex, can deter patients from engaging in collaborative healthcare. The best treatment outcomes come when there is an open dialogue and shared decision-making between doctor and patient. Instead, I felt like I was talking to a relic of the past, more interested in pushing his own agenda than listening to the needs of his patient. It’s high time that practitioners like Dr. Guglin step back and recognize that modern medicine should embrace patient-centered care, rather than exploiting patients for financial gain with dubious treatments. I would not recommend him if you're seeking a doctor who values collaboration and transparency in your treatment journey. His staff also takes down negative reviews so dont trust what google says about this clinic

Dr. Guglin has an outstanding bedside manner. I felt like he really cared about how I felt and made me feel very comfortable in his office along with the hospital. The staff was awesome and listen to my concerns. I would definitely recommend this office!

Was seen by Dr. Guglin in an emergency situation. We consider the night we met him our greatest luck. He was empathetic, knowledgeable, very skilled, personable and kind. Great guy, great doctor....could not find better anywhere!

Doc was excellent. Really knew his stuff. Very pleasant and took the time to answer all questions. Surgery went great no pain guy is the best.

No nonsense guy who is totally focused on his patients. He and his staff are very accessible for any questions, issues and patient concerns.
