Didn't try meds first. Didn't want to get longer catheter mid ablation when anatomy and techs called for it, missed, and my heart hasn't functioned without constant pacemaker help since. Still have arrhythmia. SCREAMED at me while in ICU after when my heartbeat wasn't coming back ( 20bpm) He ruined my life.

I've never been treated so poorly in my life!! Dr. Haffajee was extremely rude to me. He wouldn't let me ask any questions. He kept interrupting me. He even walked out while I was still talking. Worst experience I've ever had with A doctor. I have severe anxiety so I cried the whole way home. He made me feel awful!! I did not leave with any of my questions answered. He could have cared less about me.

He is a smart, articulate Doctor, who I feel is on top of his game.He listens to you, explains things, spends as much time with you as you need, is hands on, and very thorough.Husband has AFIB and from the start he has recommended what should be done,and what meds or minerals to ditch or take.I find it very good to have an EP for AFIB as he sees things different than our cardiologist, and we can decide on different course of treatment after hearing from both.If you have AFIB, and live in the Boston ,or Cape Cod area, do yourself well, and make an appointment to see him,as in my opinion he is top notch all around.
