Dr. Charles Schaeffer Hertz, MD

I've seen Dr Hertz one time so far and I am impressed with his knowledge and care. He is very business like and quick to the point at first. At the end of the appointment he was friendly and told me to call any time. I have called and he responds same day.

I have never encountered a doctor who was more interested in his time off, short week than in assisting his patient. As such he was only our doctor for a very limited time and then my wife called on the managing partner to take over. Hertz’s heart let alone brain is not in the game let alone acting in any patients best interest. He is simply exploiting a shortage of doctor situation in Santa Fe and being paid for his life style needs. Only CSV would have such an antiquated doctor on staff.

I had a colonoscopy in March 2017 and was clear of cancer or polyps. Return in 10 yrs! I did have an ongoing issue several weeks after the procedure. This good man called me back within 10 minutes and explained what was going on. He offered any assistance I may need it the future. Don't judge a book by it's cover...at first he seemed quite abrupt during the procedure. Could not have been more kind and caring when he called me.

Extremely rude and impatient. Not thorough.no compassion or interest for the patient. By far the Worst doctor I have ever been to see.

He was very rude, unhelpful, didnt not ask questions or respond politely to anything we said. He rudely stated "what are you doing here?" as well as treated my parents rude. He showed no interest in any medical history and then said "well you seem to be ok, see you in six months"...I felt uncomfortable and disgusted by the way I was treated by Dr. Hertz
