Dr. Charles Allen Joyner, MD

Dr. Joyner is an awesome man. He explains things very well and I enjoyed being under his care. He fully explained everything to me and I felt comfortable with every visit. I highly recommend him for your treatment.

I have had two visits so far. Wait time was minimal, i was entirely comfortable, and felt full confidence in his aporoach to my condition. A great doctir!

I had good visit.

I have a heart pacemaker that Dr Joyner put in 3.5 years ago. After that I had multiple visits to the emergency room. On the last visit Dr Joyner came in and said he could fix my problem. I agreed, and he did an ablation. MY HEALTH HAS BEEN PERFECT SINCE THEN. That was 2.5 years ago now! Dr Charles Joyner is the best heart doctor I have ever visited. I am now 68, my first attack was at 37. I've seen many doctors over the years. You will not go wrong if you give him time to do his magic.

Dr. Joyner has been my heart doctor for almost ten years. I have always found him to be through, never in hurry, approachable, friendly, but always the great doctor. He always knows the latest technology He has performed two ablations on me which have been successful. He must be doing something right, for I am 87 and still doing well.

The good part of Dr. Joyner is that he is good doctor. The bad and ugly parts have to do with his people skills. He comes across as he enters a room with the air of being superior. He does NOT like to be asked questions. He does not show compassion for his patient in our case or the patient's family. He did a procedure and made no effort to report results to the patient or the family. He is much to busy and important to do so. Again he might be the best in Richmond but needs work on how he interacts with folks.

The visit that we had for consultation was very poor . No explanation of the steps of the procedure my husband was going to have

Not good, still have problems with surgery 3 weeks later Bleeding and discharge, this doctor would not talk with family after surgery stated he was in a rush, was seem once in 3 visits and that was because of complaint to the office manager for not being satisfied with the overall procedure and still not satisfied, wish i had read about him before I let him cut on me. All the other Doctors at VCS have been great.

YOU ARE A NUMBER NOT A PATIENT. HE RUNS HIS SHOW LIKE A MASH UNIT, HE IS OVER LOADED OR JUST A VERY RUDE PERSON. WORST EXPERINCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH A DR,THE PROCEDURE HE DID HELP. BUT HE HIS UNAVALABLE MOST OF TIME FOR QUEATIONS, HE MADE ME CRY,

Dr. Joyner performed an ablation procedure on me. During the procedure my phrenic nerve was damaged resulting in the paralysis of one side of my diaphragm. When Dr. Joyner came to my post op room he told me what happened and only commented that it had never happened to him before. It didn't happen to him, it happened to me! He made no statement to me about what could be done. On two occasions following this I asked for a referral to a pulmonary specialist but he declined to give a referral. Two weeks after the procedure I began having heavy pic's. I asked him if he could do an ablation to correct them and he told me he would never operate on me again because I was too much trouble post op. Prior to the procedure I was very active and had a north life. Now I live a highly incapacitated life.
