I was referred to Dr Kanaly from my family Dr and I thank God he did. He sent me for an MRI and knew right away why my left arm was num and my fingers was tingly. He scheduled surgery and I got my feeling back. Wow he is amazing

I suffered severe/debilitating low back pain for seven years following a traffic accident. I went to NUMEROUS doctors who were unable to diagnose the source of my pain. I finally went to Dr Kanaly, who not only diagnosed Sacroiliac Joint dysfunction, but also performed the iFuse surgical procedure on my lower back. At my first appointment it was a very short wait before seeing the doctor. Upon meeting Dr Kanaly I found him to be very personable, polite, kind...down to earth. It was very calming and refreshing for me to be treated like a person by a doctor. He was excellent at explaining my condition in a way that I could easily understand, and showed me the cause of my pain on the MRI images. After discussing my condition and having ALL my questions answered (he was very patient), Dr Kanaly very thoroughly explained several options and surgical procedures that were specific to my condition. I decided to undergo the iFuse surgery, to which titanium bars are used to fuse… the sacroiliac joint. The surgery was scheduled at Saint Anne's in Fall River. On the day of the surgery, Dr Kanaly came and spoke with me prior to my being moved to the surgical room. Speaking with him made me very confident and calm. Before I knew it, the surgery was over and the healing began ( including physical therapy which I think started 3 weeks after the surgery). I had several post surgical appointments with Dr Kanaly. With each appointment, I was amazed at how little wait there was before I saw Dr Kanaly, and that his staff was also very kind. I was also very pleased with how kind, polite, respectful and thorough Dr Kanaly was at these followup appointments. The results of the surgery: I cannot believe that after seven years of chronic back pain (24-7)...Dr Kanaly's surgery gave me my life back! I sleep nights, I have a better outlook of life...I'm just happy again. Would I suggest Dr Kanaly to anyone...ABSOLUTELY...in fact I already have numerous times.
