Dr. Charles Frederick Kidd, MD

My internist called Dr. Kidd to set me up for an appointment seeing cancer runs in the family. Never heard back. So I called and they said they will call me back. Again, they would not call back. Obviously they don't care. First impressions mean a lot. My father passed because of cancer and Dr.Kidd was his doctor. The family has always wondered if the cancer got worse because of Dr Kidd not doing a thorough job.

When we met and first were patients of Dr, Kidd he seemed sharp and patient centered. Then he called my husband to deliver a cancer diagnosis and in just about the same breath said he was on his way on vacation but that if there were any questions we should call him; the pit bulls that he and his beyond detached partner, Mr. Silbar (doesn't deserve "Dr.") employ as their "receptionists" would not connect us to Dr. Kidd. We met with Kidd after that and shared the unprofessional, rude, low class behavior of his staff. Mercifully we found our way to another practice and effective treatment. I didn't post this review at the time - but just recently heard from someone of their wretched experience with his guard dogs - so felt it was time.

Dr Kidd was extremely approachable and knowledgeable. He made me feel comfortable at each appointment and prior to surgery. He is excellent at communicating with visuals. He would draw the urinary tract on paper to highlight the issue and how surgery would correct the issue. I found this extremely helpful. Following surgery, Dr Kidd personally called me to check and see how recovery was going. I have regained my health and am so thankful. Dr Kidd is an excellent surgeon you can trust.

Doesn't acknowledge tardiness upon walking in. Upon my frustration he felt it was appropriate to let me know he didn't give this condition to me. Unprofessional.
